Candles
04:20

Under the rubble of this town we called home,
deep beneath this frozen snow,
there's a piece of you I used to love.
Push it back in place and let it grow.
Now we are the prey,
borne from a world in decay.
We are the kids time forgot,
our shallow hearts ache to stop.
We like to think the sun will come.
We snuff the candles out alone.
Welcome to the new age
were sinking slowly back into the clay
you can try to delay
but you will never shun your fate
Please just try to let go
the futures all but known
We like to think the sun will come
We snuff the candles out alone

Memories

I am not what I used to be
and you won't haunt my memories.
No, I am not what I used to be
and you won't haunt my memories.
I think I see myself again,
and I'll remember or I'll just pretend...
those memories, I've lost all those memories.
When everything was far away,
I had to teach myself life was ok.
come back to me,
it's all coming back to me.

Carousels

The Carousels are Drowning!
All the Colors drained around me
as the sun began to fade,
and the carousels were drowning
all tehir twist and turns betrayed
by the chorus bells on fire,
all their metal mouths were strained
singing sweetly from the rooftops
of the cells inside your veins.
And now we lose ourselves
to the ever raging tides.
You know I just can't wait
to leave this behind.
This elevated pulsing
pounding deeper through my brain.
All the pressure points are
burning for the call of better days.
Take the memories that haunt you,
all that love that cuased you pain,
find a nice bridge to jump of off
that will spirit me away.
And now we lose ourselves
to the ever raging tides.
You know I just can't wait
to leave this behind.
